“When art piece is be interpreted as the expression of artist, how could animals document their emotion?” I’m always fascinated with the interaction with animals. Not only because I’m a pet lovers and trying to be the “BEST” and “MOST CARING” pet owner but also my interest in reimagining how we live through the lens of the environment and de-centering ourselves in a world of ecological uncertainty and recalibration. I believed that animals have their own systems, language and emotion, and it’s crucial for people to understand and empathize with them instead of “judging them”. By understanding the physical “sensors” of guinea pigs with participatory observation, I took my steps in experiencing the life guinea pigs have everyday.
